Welcome home lovies
.....hooray! You found us. We hope you feel at home in the little world of haden. Here we celebrate the old, the new, the odd, and the funky. The biggest compliment we've ever received is being told we have 'cool grandma energy' and we hope you see the charm in that all the same.
The Story
House of Haden was created in the middle of our founder, Kiley's, textile science class. What began as a daydream during a chemical bond lecture, turned into a passion project she never meant to create. House of Haden seeks to celebrate unique, intimate, and thoughtful designs through the use of antique touches, bold patterns, and lively colorscapes.
The Inspiration
Haden is derived from Kiley's maternal maiden name: Hadenfeldt. When thinking about what to name her business, she knew she wanted something that conveyed a welcoming warmth; And when she thought of that feeling, it only made sense to pay tribute to her loving grandparents she had the privilege of learning from over the years. She hopes to convey the same simple natured love and wholesome togetherness seen in the photos below (taken from her families 1960's archives). Her family is, and continues to be some of kiley's biggest cheerleaders. They've always given her the freedom to make mistakes, learn, grow and be a carefree child.
The Goal
With the dominance of fast fashion and big name brands in the market place, House of Haden hopes to be a destination for the masses to shop the unknown designers just beginning their journey. We want to bring attention to the small to mid-level creatives from all over the globe. There is so much creativity in the world, and we want to a part in nurturing its development. Small businesses hold a special place in Kiley's heart, and she wants to encourage their growth anyway she can.

Meet Kiley
Kiley has always loved the way unique and personalized designs can transform the world around you, whether that be physically or emotionally. Growing up in a rural community in Nebraska sparked a curiosity to seek out design beyond the comforts of home. While she has a fondness for simple & homie interiors, she finds the most inspiration from worldly designs and is always seeking knew knowledge and inspiration from other cultures.
In the May of 2020, she obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska’s Textiles, Fashion, and Merchandising department. She went on to work with a variety of boutique businesses including home decor, event planning and floral design, but her education didn't stop there. After working in the field for a couple of years, she sprouted a curiosity for interiors. With her new found interest, she elected to begin working towards a Certificate of Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design.
